Terms of Service

Million Pixel Mural is a participatory artwork and internet time-capsule performance. A purchase provides a limited opportunity to submit creative material for a selected area of the public canvas, subject to payment, availability, technical requirements, identity and destination checks, moderation, and these Terms.

A purchase does not transfer ownership of the project, canvas, software, domain, intellectual property, or any physical property. Placement coordinates, appearance, surrounding material, presentation, and composition may evolve as part of the artwork.

Payment confirms the purchase, not publication approval. Publication follows submission of a compliant creative, human moderation, and successful canvas composition.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, all sales are final. We do not offer voluntary refunds, cancellations, exchanges, credits, or prorated refunds after payment. This policy does not limit any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived.

Failure to submit a creative, a missed deadline, rejection of noncompliant material, requested revisions, removal or suspension for a policy violation, changes to the composition, or dissatisfaction with traffic or results does not create refund eligibility.

You represent that you have all rights and permissions needed for submitted material and linked destinations. You grant the project a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to review, reproduce, resize, crop, adapt, compose, display, archive, promote, and distribute that material in connection with the project.

We may request changes, reject material, delay publication, suspend links, or remove material when needed for safety, legality, rights protection, technical operation, artistic integrity, or enforcement of these Terms and the content standards.

The project and placement are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee traffic, impressions, clicks, conversions, press coverage, business outcomes, uninterrupted availability, a particular visual context, or permanence beyond the product lifetime described in the longevity policy.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the project disclaims implied warranties. Where liability cannot be excluded, aggregate liability arising from a purchase will not exceed the amount paid for that purchase.
